The objective of the Anger Support workshop:

– Understanding your own anger

– Learn what provokes your anger

– Recognizing and admitting it

– Learn how to relax and calm down

– Learn how to express anger constructively

– Make an Anger bridling plan

– Learn how to handle other’s anger


– Do you yell at your children to make them behave?

– Do you feel like you are on edge waiting for the next thing to go wrong, or the next person to annoy you?

– Have you got a burning rage inside that just seems to explode?

– You may be tightly controlled, but are you seething inside? Have headaches, tight shoulders? Clenched jaw?

– Have you lost control and behaved in ways that make you feel like a bad person? Or are you in the receiving end? Feeling like a victim of someone else’s anger outbursts

 

If you think you might be one of those angry people, then admitting you have a problem is the first step, and the chances are that’s why you landed on this page. So first off – give yourself a pat on the back. I’m not here to chastise you for your anger, I’m here to support you to make some changes, and manage that anger so you don’t end up with things seemingly getting totally out of control.

 

Controlling anger doesn’t ignore the emotion. Instead, it involves first calming oneself so that one’s anger can be used to achieve constructive ends, such as solving problems and restoring emotional connections with others. Proper control of anger reduces the risk of violence toward others as well as physiological harm to oneself.
