Gratitude-Ramadan

Practicing Gratitude This Ramadan

For Muslims around the world, Ramadan is one of the most revered months of the year. If you ask Muslims the world over what are the first words that come to mind when they think of Ramadan, it may likely be iftar food, community or family, prayer, and…gratitude.

Gratitude as a virtue is central to Ramadan, a month of fasting where Muslims abstain from food or drink from sunrise to sunset. This Ramadan, you can try a 30-day Gratitude Challenge to make it a habit that you will fall in love with.

To practice your Gratitude Challenge regularly, you can choose a particular time when you want to offer your gratitude for something. You can either say it aloud every day beginning with, “Today, I am grateful for…” or you can maintain a gratitude journal. If you like writing and you want to go paperless, you can even make notes on your phone.
