3 Ways to Feel Good

These challenging times have made each one of us worry or feel stressed majorly. A lot of us have forgotten how to feel good or feel better. Here are 3 ways we can adopt that help to increase the dopamine flow i.e. feel-good hormone within the body and as a result help each of us feel good and happy.

1. Healthy Diet


A healthy diet is key, junk food and caffeine, etc make you feel dull and sluggish. The body takes more time to digest these and hence needs more energy tiring you out. Intake of vegetable-rich food with good greens is a must. Foods high in Zinc such as whole grains, nuts, pumpkin seeds, beans, etc also help increase the dopamine levels in the system.

2. Exercising


Exercise is essential getting the body to move helps release dopamine further and in turn, makes you get that surge of energy. Any form of exercise even as simple as walking or jogging helps you lift the mood immensely.

3. Journaling/Venting out your thoughts and feelings


The mind tends to focus on things that are not healthy and keeps on thinking and rethinking on past negativity. It is essential to help the mind relax and release out. Journaling out stored feelings of hurt and pain by writing down specific incidents that have hurt you helps the body vent harmoniously. This helps break the vicious cycle of thinking extra and helps obtain a neutral third-person perspective.
